How You Control Your Information

Each organisation cataloguing with Victorian Collections has an Organisation Page. This page contains publicly accessible contact details, a short description of your collection and an image of your organisation. Your catalogue records are linked to this page.

Each catalogue record may contain information on the item’s identification, physical description, maker, contextual history, usage, acquisition, conservation, storage, valuation and rights details. Each time you create a catalogue record, you decide whether any information from this record is publicly accessible or not. If made public, and thus published on the Victorian Collections site, only the details you wish to share will be shown publicly.

You may update or delete the data that you have contributed to Victorian Collections at any time.
