Hi, I was trying to track down an old neighbour of mine from the 70's/80's - Nadia Turney (maiden name), who attended Morongo and moved to Queensland in the early 80's. I was wondering if you might know anyone who has tracked down previous students previously? Thank you kindly.

I was a proud student at Morongo from '75 until '78. While I have beautiful memories of my years there, I can't really add much of interest. In the time I was there I believe scenes for the movie 'The Getting of Wisdom' were filmed there, and being a keen art student, I was shattered to hear that our beloved young art teacher was killed in a skiing accident. I was inspired to continue with my love of drawing, and combined with my nutured love of needlework, I'm now a freelance Patchwork Designer/Teacher. I owe this grounding to my dedicated teachers at Morongo.
