Historical information

This matchbox is a souvenir / give away from the Wool Exchange Nightclub and Hotel, Corio Street, Geelong. Resaurants and hotels frequently give away items such as this for promotional purposes.

Physical description

Matchbox with removable lid. Contains 23 white tipped, wooden matches. One side of the matchbox is printed in black with an image of a sheep in white. The other side is white, with a cartoon image of a wolf in a sheepskin in black. One side of the matchbox is for striking matches, the other side is printed with text.
