Gives details of the itinerary for the trip using a 280HP Rail car trip with the forward portion via North Geelong. Duplicated using the Gestetner process. Note the knowledge of the time, with horse tram bodies being reused to form some of the early ESCo. trams. Second copy from donation of the Tom Murray Estate added 25-11-2016 and 3rd copy from Keith Kings papers added 19-3-2017. Produced by the North Sydney Boys High School Railway club, prior to the closure of the Ballarat system - little else written and published at the time about the history and details of the system. A very good booklet for the time - produced entirely by the wax cut stencil process. Has a strong association with the people who prepared the document.Twenty page booklet on the history, operation and tramcars of Ballarat, produced by the Nth Sydney Boys High School Railway Club in July 1971. Printed on a wax cut stencil process, with green covers, drawings, maps, track layout, fleet list, gives tentative closure dates, route descriptions, sketches, stapled on edge. Title "The Ballarat Tram". Stapled on the left hand side. Three copies held - 3rd copy added 22/10/05. 4th copy added 11/10/2007 and image of cover added as well. pdf image of copy added 2/11/13 - to produce the scan, copy 2 was unstapled and filed loose - may not open properly in dbtext. find file and open directly. Demonstrates documentation necessary when Melbourne W4 671 returned for operations in Melbourne.A4 sheet prepared for the use of W class trams fitted with blinds, ex Sth Melb. Depot, particularly for BTM No. 671, during visit of 3 & 4/96, covers controllers, safety, motor cut outs etc. 303.1 - found in tram upon return to Ballarat - 13/5/1996 303.2 - good condition copy ex Peter Winspur. Check on box contents 25/8/01 showed that 303.2 has been removed elsewhere or is missing.
