Titled - "Tramway Map of Melbourne and Suburbs" - c1952, after the La Trobe or Latrobe St lines opened. Not known who produced the map. Does not give route numbers. Black and white photograph of an illustration of the Beaumaris Horse Tram. The photo shows the tram being pulled by 3 horses with several passengers on the top level. The Beaumaris Tramway Company commenced operations in 1887 between Sandringham and Cheltenham railway stations, and managed to survive until 1914. The tramway was operated by Charles Henry James in an attempt to sell land developed by him at Black Rock, Sandringham and Mentone.
