Most of the Gully's leading men were members, including Brother C. Blainey (father of professor Geoff Blainey), one time manager of the Bendigo Advertiser, Brother W. Stephens, Brother Batten Perrow, three brothers Speedy, five Brothers Richards, Phillips and Robertson. The Archie Robertson memorial seat is still in the Gully near the site of the old lodge room.
