Bendigo's first ceremonial dragon, the "Duck Bill" dragon appeared in Easter parades 1892-1898. "Moon face" only appeared in 1900. "Loong" paraded from 1901-2019 before being retired due to it's age and fragility. In the meantime "Sun Loong" was seen from 1970-2019. Jessie and William Kenney married at St. Stephens Church, Richmond in 1945. They moved to 19 Baldwin Road, Blackburn in 1965. William predeceased Jessie. Jessie passed away on 01/04/2010 aged 90. Alice Mary Salter and William Robert Salter living together; presumed to be sister and brother. William Robert Salter was killed in a MVA in Bendigo in 1937 aged 26.
