Gwen Gunn was a very active Legacy widow and organised Operation Rosemay for many years where Rosemary trays were prepared to give to the public on Anzac days. The accompanying articles says that police piper Constable Ross Bates played outside Legacy House to pipe in Legacy Day, which saw hundreds of collectors spread across Melbourne for the badge appeal. The appeal was aiming to reach $500000 to beat the previous year's total of $467,702. The reference number 910906/9 could mean the date was the 6th September 1991.
