This extraordinary record of the student cohort in 1933 reveals aspects of school life in the early 1930's. It shows young boys from the Kindergarten class, uniform and property detail. This photograph has social significance because of its detail regarding schooling in the early 1930s. Black and white photograph mounted on grey card of Clarendon Presbyterian Ladies College student cohort in 1933. The students are arranged in five tiered rows. The photograph is taken in the Mair Street quadrangle. The photograph is accompanied with a typed list of names. -

Pocket book size with buff grey linen hardcover imprinted with black lettering. Example of the New Testament that was presented to members of the Victorian Contingent of the Australian Imperial Force during World War 1. The inside front cover has a label insert with a printed message "Printed by the British and Foreign Bible Society and signed Fred G Barley, Gen Sec. Melbourne 1916". The opening pages have a blue stamped imprint with the following inscription "Presbyterian Soldiers' Institute Royal Park Camp" in an oval shaped border. Book published by the British and Foreign Bible Society, 146 Queen Victoria Street, London. The front cover has the following inscription in black print, "NEW TESTAMENT". -

A realistic depiction of an industrial crane against a predominantly cloud covered sky, the crane is set in the lower centre of the canvas, almost becoming secondary to the sky and cloud which dominate the canvas. The sky set in bright and vibrant blues contrast the darkness of the clouds, ominous and heavy in shades of grey and green the colours seem to reflect the relentless clock of industry. It has been lovingly handmade and restored carefully to match the original.This alabaster bowl is representative of handmade decorative and useful items of the Victorian era.Bowl; round, hand-crafted, shallow oval alabaster bowl on a short pedestal with carved handles on opposing sides. Light brown with dark grey/black and red flecks. Stone has a polished surface, leaves outline (acanthus plant) etched inside the bowl. The pedestal has been crafted separately and expertly attached to the base.
