Interior of Ballarat Church of England Grammar second chapel, called the Chapel of St Mark the Evangelist taken in 1961. This chapel was transported from Allendale to the Forest St, Wendouree, site. There is a photograph of a steam engine moving the building to the site in 1919. This building was the second chapel on the CEGS site. In 1975 a third chapel was reconstructed from Manifold Hall.

The second School chapel was brought from Allendale in 1919 and the first School chapel was subsequently taken to Wallinduc. In 1975 Manifold Hall was reconstructed to become the School's third chapel. It was consecrated on 29 November 1975 by the Right Reverend John Hazlewood, Bishop of Ballarat. First chapel at CEGS

The interior photograph was achieved by turning the key which was found in the lock on 16 April 2000. The first chapel at Ballarat Grammar was brought from the old mining town of Jerusalem, near Creswick in 1912. It was moved to Walllinduc (between Cape Clear and Lismore) and renamed St Agnes Church of England Church.

The first chapel used at Ballarat Grammar remained at Walllinduc and bore a sign telling of its link with Grammar. Rob Olston observed in 2000 that there was no sign of regular services being conducted there although the pews and lecturn remained in place.

This photograph of the Wallinduc St Agnes Church was taken in 2000. The church was purchased by the Ballarat Church of England Diocese and brought from the old mining town of Jerusalem in 1912 to be used as a School chapel.

This church was built on the goldfield at Jerusalem near Creswick, in the Parish of Kingston, Victoria, Australia. It was bought (with the organ) by the Ballarat Diocese on 13 February 1912 for 30 pounds and presented to Ballarat Grammar School. It was offically opened on 21 February 1912 by Bishop Green assisted by Reverend J. Forster. In response to an appeal for funds to renovate and furnish the chapel 77 pounds and 18 shillings was subscribed by various friends. Part of this was used for painting and roofing and for a new altar and altar rails. On 28 November 1913 two Glastonbury chairs and a carpet for the sanctuary were added. It was moved to Wallinduc in 1919.

This church was used as the first chapel at Church of England Grammar School, Ballarat. The old chapel was bought by Mrs Rowe for the parish of Wallinduc.
