Historical information
In May 1958 it was reported the Pevensey was moored near Mildura and not working. In June 1963 it was said she was to become a floating museum, but was sunk by vandals at Mildura in 1967.

Significance
The Pevensey started her life as the barge Mascot. She was fitted with a steam engine in 1911, and been a paddle steamer since. She is the largest paddle steamer operating as a tourist boat at the Port of Echuca.
