Significance
This was a letter written by Greg Ralton to Bruce Whelan who was CEO of the Port of Echuca in 2007. It came with a photograph which Greg donated to the Port of Echuca of the P.S. Alexander Arbuthnot under the Barmah Bridge about to be taken to Shepparton by road to be restored. The P.S Alexander Arbuthnot in 2007 was housed at the Port of Echuca wharf, which is why Greg donated this photograph to the Port of Echuca.

Dear Bruce,
Please find enclosed a photo of the Alexander Arbuthnot as discussed with you at Echuca Wharf on Thursday. I camped on the river for many years at Yielma and witnessed the hull being lifted.
Regards,
Greg Ralton,
