Allansford is a town in the Western District of Victoria, 250km southwest of Melbourne. It is in the City of Warrnambool local government area.

Allansford Police Station (Western District) opened 17 January 1888. The original building was a five-roomed weather-board dwelling with an iron roof and verandahs front and back, set on a half acre of land. There was also a wash-house, bathroom, WC and a separate office at the rear of house. There was also stables for two horses and a portable lock-up. It was staffed by one First Constable. It was closed on 30 August 1989.
