Historical information

Collectively these totems tell the story of the creek as a natural waterway, as a place of indigenous culture and as an important part of Melbournes industrial development.

Physical description

A tall, approximately 5 Meters, constructed from Basalt, Red Gum and Pier Pylon, feature industrial elements of Cogs, bolts and Nuts, it is fenced by a low lying series of carved benches heavily carved revealing the Indigenous origins that have inspired all three Totems along the Moonee Ponds Creek.
