Historical information

Made by German POW's Camp 13 and sent by Army Guards to Internment Camp 3 as a gift to German Beilharz family. Used until family released in 1946. Later, Meta Beilharz had it with her in the Tabulam and Templer Home for the Aged In Bayswater Vic.

Christmas tree made of wooden upright and stand, wire branches covered in silver tinsel. Hand cut and painted angels and dwarfs, painted walnuts, stars (gold and silver), other ornaments - tiny pine cones, cotton wool, candle holders
