Historical information

The foundation stone of Scots Church was laid in April 1834 by the Lieutenant-Governor Colonel Arthur. The building was opened for worship on 26 June 1836. The Rev. John Dunmore Lang led the service. The church celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1985.
