Historical information

Given to donor by her father, Sergeant Richard Osborne, who bought it while serving in Egypt (then in Palestine) during world War 11. Bible is a 'red letter testament' with Jesus spoken word printed in red.

Physical description

New Testament (Red Letter New Testament) with a wooden cover with cross and four small crosses engraved into cover. 'Jerusalem' written in black on front, 'Bethlehem' written on back. Red Letter Testament on leather covered spine.
