No. stamped on bottle is 435891. This matches Flying Office Mervyn Albert Henry Schramm who enlisted 8/10/43 and was discharged 20/12/45 and was posted to RAF Station Gampston.
Military Issued Water Bottle. Bottle in blue tin metal but is fully bound in brown felt material. Wrapped around felt is a leather strap that hooks over the shoulder. The water bottle is capped by a cork top with a metal hook into a wooden top on the cork. Lid is attached to the case by a piece of string.
Written on the case name "Denis Lowein". Stamped on leather strap No. 435891, also on side strap "RAAF & K>19".

On the left of the cypher is a boars head and on right is a wild cat. Above the cypher is a coronet. All within a wreath of thistles. 2. Silver coloured metal cap badge. Design features a Maltese Cross over a laurel wreath and Order of the Garter Star. Battle honours of the regiment inscribed on the four arms of the cross. Centre of the cross has "ARROYO DOS MOLINOS 1811" inscribed. THE BORDER REGIMENT inscribed on a scroll below cross. 3. Silver coloured metal cap badge, design features a castle within a laurel wreath. Above castle is a scroll inscribed "Gibralter". Below the castle is another scroll inscribed "Talavera". Pressed decoration and blank cartouch on front. Back plain. Dark felt lining inside lid. Interior has spring loaded clip for holding a sovereign. Catch and ring for a chain located on top.

This is a set of seven photographs of personnel posted to the Army Survey Regiment in 1989. These formal group photos of three of of the four Squadrons, Officers, and Warrant Officers/Sergeants were probably taken after a CO’s Parade. There were no photos of Headquarters Squadron in this set of negatives. LTCOL John Winzar was the CO of the Army Survey Regiment from 1987 to 1989 and WO1 Neville Stone was the RSM from 1988 to 1990.

These 18 photographs were taken at an Army Survey Regiment Open Day at Fortuna Villa, Bendigo on the 24th of February 1990. This occasion was one of several events held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Australian Survey Corps. Although historical tours of Fortuna occurred on a regular basis, this was the first technical open day since 1972. The Royal Australian Survey Corps recognised that an Open Day was the best way for the local community in Bendigo to gain an insight into the unit’s important role as Defence’s map production agency, its technical equipment, and its economic importance to Bendigo. It also gave them an opportunity to tour through historic Fortuna Villa. This occasion is covered in more detail in page 143 of Valerie Lovejoy’s book 'Mapmakers of Fortuna – A history of the Army Survey Regiment’ ISBN: 0-646-42120-4. Refer to items 6434.27P and 6435.35P for more photos of the Open Day taken inside Fortuna, the garden areas and Map Production areas of Air Survey and Cartographic Squadron. Brown wooden stained trophy. Mounted on top of gold coloured tin lid and mounted on lid 2 metal rifles about 10 cm high leaning against a metal plate. With the name of trophy engraved. On front is two metal plates. First plate engraved with 6 past winners and second plate along bottom mostly empty with just one past winner.
Title engraved; "Somme Barracks Rifle Shooting Trophy". Also engraved 7 past winners.

Gold coloured metal medallion. Obverse side features an Australian Coat of Arms in the middle. Above the Coat of Arms are two clasped hands. Encircling the Coat of Arms are two rifles and a floral chain. A small ring is attached at the top to hold a chain. Recipients' details are engraved on the back. Hallmark stamped on bottom of back.
Engraved on reverse side: "Presented by the Shire of East Loddon to R.H. Baron in grateful appreciation of service rendered in A.I.F. in the Great War." Stamped on reverse side at bottom "Hallmark Symbols".

A compilation of articles, stories, poetry and illustrations written by men of the ANZACS in Gallipoli. In Nov 1915 a committee was established to produce the publication with cash prizes offered after evacuation correspondents, Charles Bean and Arthur Bazely edited the contributions.
160 page soft cover book, brown in colour held by two large staples. Several front pages and one back page loose. Contents cover pictures, stories, poems and other writings set in the ANZAC Campaign.
