Arthur Dusting was part of the Portland Lifeboat crew. His father John had also been part of the crew and had assisted in the rescue of survivors from the wreck of the Admella.

Physical description

Certificate, printed in green ink, includes imagery of rescue, boatman in life vest and use of rocket equipment. Presented to Arthur Dusting (Grand father of the donor) as a mark of appreciation of his services of 15 years as a boatman with the departmental life boat service at Portland.
