Two blocks of tickets each - light red ink on off white 60 gsm paper, denomination 3d (printed in blue), headed State Electricity Commission of Victoria, Provincial Tramways. Originally a block of 50 tickets been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple and a small cardboard retaining strip at the top of the ticket. The ticket number is in black ink while the "E" prefix is in red, the ticket number is in black. Ticket used as a Transfer, had day of issue to be punched on the left hand side and the destination validated in number on the right hand side. 2117.1 - E143156 - 99 2117.2 - E143003 - 99 Thought to be used prior to 1950's around the second world war.trams, tramways, secv, tickets, parcels -

Robin Boyd was appointed Exhibits Architect for the Australian Pavilion at Expo ‘67 in Montreal. The garden outside the pavilion featured a sculptural pool, a coral display, animal pool, a pit for kangaroos and Eucalypts and other native plants. The indoor exhibits covered aspects of Australian art and culture, architecture, industrial design and scientific innovation, such as the Snowy Mountains Hydro-Electric Power Scheme, the Parkes radio telescope, the design of Canberra, and the Australian way of life.Colour slide in a mount. Ephemera - Ticket - Scholars Montly ticket - 1950, State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SECV)
Cloth backed off white paper ticket with black printing, used for a Scholar's under 15 years, monthly tickets with a large rectangle for an expiry date stamp and printed conditions of use. Has space for the student's name, address and school to be written in. Used by Shirley Bosworth. The ticket was found behind a tram sand box and was most likely lost by the holder. It was in an almost inaccessible position and recovered when the sand box had to be removed for maintenance, along with other tickets. Was designed to be folded.Yields information about the use of SEC Ballarat Scholar tickets.Orange cloth backed paper ticket- 5/-. Scholar's monthly ticket, dated to expire 2 Aug 50. Sign - "AIR BRAKE OPERATING END"
Demonstrates how the SEC used signage to communicate important information to staff.An enameled metal plate sign in an off-white colour, hand painted with black lettering. The sign reads "AIR BRAKE OPERATING END". The sign is curved, and all four corners have been angled. There is a hole in each of the corners to enable attachment to the tram cab. Horizontal lines have been drawn to ensure the even height and spacing of the lettering. The back of the sign has been painted a brass colour, although some of this has flaked off with wear. This is a pamphlet from after electric light was connected to the campground. The pamphlet mentions that electric light and a hot water service have been installed. Record 384 is an earlier version of the same pamphlet, before the electric lights were installed. The front and back pages are shown as the main photo and the centre pages are available under 'Additional Images'. This is a four page, folded pamphlet entitled Souvenir of the Grampians, which was issued by the Hall's Gap Picnic and camping Reserve Committee. It has a large photo of 'The Pinnacle' on the front. The centre pages contain a photo of the 'Comfort Station', a History of the Grampians, a dot-point list of Camp Ground Facilities and information about the Hall's Gap Picnic and Camping Reserve.
