Embarked for Egypt 19.10.14, embark for Gallipoli 5.4.15, WIA 8.5.15 GSW to arm, return to unit 20.6.15, WIA 1.9.15 GSW’s arm, back and leg, arm amputated, also states arm blown off. He DOW’s 4.9.15 at sea and was buried in Mudross East Cemetery Lemnos on 5.9.15. Letter and attachment, 21st December, 1983, from Bendigo Mining NL re proposed underground mining exploration Central Deborah, North Deborah and Deborah shafts referencing Town and Country Notice. Bendigo Mining's intention to dewater the Deborah mines and the discharge of same into the Bendigo Sewerage Authority, is discussed. The Town and Country Planning Permit Application attached details the pumping of water, rehabilitation of underground workings and erection of above ground facilities to achieve same. Use of the equipment already available on the site of the Central Deborah will'/ be utilised to pump the water.
