Video of Rex Mathieson and Ron Cashmore's story about the Schomberg and their experiences diving on the wreck. the video was shown at the Peterborough Hall in January 2017, with live commentary by the divers, and accompanied by artefacts lent to the History Group by Flagstaff Hill Maritime Museum.The Schomberg wrecked close to the town of Peterborough and this video is narrated by Rex Mathieson and Ron Cashmore who dived on the wreck over a period of years prior to the Historic Shipwrecks Act 1976. They collected artefacts and took underwater photographs at that time. Robert John Bickford No 1518 enlisted in the AIF in the 1st reinforcements 21st Batt on 8.4.1915 age 30 years 11 months. This brought much excitement to the patients at Heidelberg.Recognises a significant Royal visit to Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. Acknowleges the role of the Hospital in the treatment of War Veterans to receive such a visit and World War II had ceased in 1945, only nine years earlier.Blue cardboard folder of 4 sides, with a single fold containing 1 photo and inscription. The card relates to the Official Centenary Ball held in the Warrnambool Town Hall in March 1947 to celebrate the city's Centenary in 1947. Warrnambool was founded as a port settlement to service the farming interests in the area, with the first land sales held in Melbourne in July 1847. The leaflet is a programme of the Civic Memorial Service held in the Botanic Gardens in Warrnambool in February1952 on the occasion of the death of King George VI of England.
