His early work used welded and cast metal objects. In the 1980s he transitioned to marble sculpture Clive Murray White was Head of Sculpture at the Monash University Churchill (now Federation University Gippsland). He established the Cowwarr Art Space with Carolyn Crossley.Marble sculpture of Hygia, the Greek goddess of health and healing. Daughter of Asciepius the God of Medicine, Hygeia symbolises the preservation of good heallth and prevention of illness.
