This publication was released by the Falls Creek Tourist Area Management Committee during the 1969 snow season. It followed decisions to expand the accommodation and services to approximately double its size at that time. It was aimed at promoting the Resort in an effort to attract further interest and potential investment in this development.This brochure is significant because it documents the manner in which the Tourist Resort was prompted for investors.A fold out brochure with a skier on the front cover. Antwerp is near Dimboola, Victoria. The schoo, originally named Antwerp South State School, opened c. 1891.The building was condemned by the Shire of Dimboola in 1909 on health grounds due to overcrowding, and rebuilt. It continued operating until it was closed at the end of 1981 due to falling enrolments, and the buildings were removed from the site. Joseph Bailey built an elaborate playground for his children, as illustrated by this high slide and long see-saw. They were not allowed to play on this equipment on a Sunday. The name 'Graceburn' came from the area in Healesville where the Bailey family came from. The Bailey family were members of the Wyclif Congregational Church. The school in the photograph is Bulla State School No. 46 and was originally known as the Government -funded Bulla Common School, built 1870 - 1871. With the passing of the Education Act in Victoria in 1873 it became known as Bulla State School No. 46. The original building comprised of a rectangular shaped bluestone building with a 3 roomed residence attached. As school enrolments began to increase in the district, a weatherboard classroom was added in 1881 and later extended in 1927 adjacent to the original building with a covered walkway between the two buildings. The modern portable classroom was added in the 1960s. Bulla Primary School closed in 1996 after much local controversy. The property is now privately owned.
