The Melton and District State Schools Third Annual Sports held in October in 1939 lists EW Barrie and S Rodgers as announcers. Stan an d/or Alan Rodgers were featured in this role for many years. The Bulla Sports Ground, along with the clubrooms and community centre were updated in 1990. Prior to then they were used for various district sporting events but over the years they were becoming run down. They are sited in Green Street.
