Legacy raised funds from the sale of Christmas cards for many years. In 1960 the cards were: Swanston St 1861, by Henry Burn Yuletide visit Captain Cook Landing at Botany Bay To the South there is a great land The Star of Bethlehem The subject of some of the cards might seem dated, especially those featuring the colonisation of Australia by the British. In 1960 the Crowes railway station and yards had been closed for six years, since December 1954. This section was left to the elements, the line being rapidly covered with vegetation. This register records every Anglican service held in the St Peter the Mariner's Chapel from 10 July 1960 through to 30 December 1988. It also records the date, time of service, name of the preacher, text used for sermon, approximate numbers in attendance and approximate numbers of communicants.The service register is one a series of similar registers, recording similar information.
