It contains the opening address of Thomas Rowe, President of the Institute of Architects and information on the Institute of Architects NSW (not in Boyd's papers) and on the history of the establishment of The Royal Australian Institute of Architects. It also lists further information of office records at RAIA in Sydney, that Boyd can access on a visit. Swan Pool forms the southern gateway to the ‘Fairyland’ area on the western shore of Lake Wendouree, Ballarat. The new bridge was built c2013 and designed based on the form of water lily flowers. Architecture as Idea was curated by recent RMIT graduates Dale Jones-Evans, Randall Marsh and Roger Wood who had founded Built Moderne in 1983. The exhibition challenged the way architectural exhibitions could be.
