Newspaper cutting, July 19, 1968 from Bendigo Advertiser about the State Government decision the previous day to replace the tram services in Bendigo and Ballarat. Government accepted the Transport Regulation Board report. Notes the SEC, the Minister of Transport - Mr. Wilcox and that services were expected to close down by the New Year. Also has item on "Comments on the Tram Decision" by the Mayor, Trades Hall Council President Mr. S. Anderson and Manger of the SEC Northern Branch, Mr. A.C. Sandow.
