The dress was created by the Sydney company Simona Couture, founded 1963 by Inge Fonagy. Inge Fonagy trained in Switzerland and migrated to Australia in 1950. The Kew Historical Society’s fashion and design collection is comprised of costumes, hats, shoes and personal accessories.
