Victorian State School's Horticultural Society was established in 1911 with the aims of distributing seed and bulbs to all member schools, to provided communication between interested teachers and to encourage seed and bulb collection and swapping between member schools.The book has a brown cover and red spine. Bogong school had a reputation for an excellent library especially with regard to nature.
