One of a number of photoboards commissioned by Latrobe City to celebrate the centenary of his 1899 birth. The Sir Macfarlane Burnet Library at Grey Street Primary School, Traralgon, was dedicated in 2001. Mac and his sisters Doris and Annie attended Traralgon State School, then located in Campbell Street. Wax mould from which bronze bust of Sir Macfarlane Burnet was cast. School Library named in honour of former student of Traralgon State School, Sir Frank Macfarlane Burnet. Dedicated to him at the official opening of new school extensions on 17 October 2001.
