This building, on the Ferguson property at Hurstbridge was photographed on a Society excursion in 1974. It was the original Hurst house at Allwood and was demolished around the 1970s. According to Nancy Jacobs (nee Gray) in 2025, it was her grandfather William Gray’s home, her father’s home, as well as her home as a very small child.
