The original train on the wedding dress was a feature of the wedding gown, falling in tiers as a "waterfall" effect. One tier was later used by Merle to make a christening dress for her first child, Bronwyn. Eighteen small (1.75 cm) diameter, double petalled floral motifs form the 'handle'.
