Printed coloured photographic postcard. Image depicts a large formal garden with many large mature trees. Several trees have been shaped into topiary. Amongst the trees are two buildings, a formal parterre garden, pathways and a fountain. The words Botanic Gardens Adelaide are printed in white along the lower left hand edge. On reverse, card is addressed to Miss R Dean Esmond Golden Square Victoria with a one penny stamp affixed postmarked Adelaide.
