Photograph shows Z1 No. 24 (with "Special" indicated on the route banner) at Preston Workshops. The tram is in the first version of "The Met" livery, with the standard green and gold colors. The car number is in the original MMTB gold with black shadowing. The tram also had trolley poles installed.
