The Kewriosity Sheet (1979-83) was first published in the City of Kew (Victoria) in June 1979 as a two-sided 'community newssheet'. The popularity of woven sild postcards peaked during the First Workd War 1914-1918. A thriving cottage industry began around 1915 and the quaity and colours of the silks used is extremely high. This card is one of three cards presented by the Tom Eastwell family in 2018.
