Alice Florence Ah Lyee, a daughter of William Henry Ah Lyee and his wife Florence (née Wrathall) married Samuel Jackson in 1901. They lived in various locations in western Victoria before returning to Linton around 1910. They had eight children, the oldest three of whom are shown in the photograph. Samuel Jackson died in 1937, and in 1941 Alice married Henry George Ward. Alice and Samuel's daughter Amelia Jackson, who is in the photograph, married Martin Reidy.Copy of original photograph, which appears to have been in a fabric-covered frame. Among his collection of film and historical memorabilia housed in the 'katoi' (basement) of his North Balwyn home, Stathi Raftopoulos had a reproduction copy of the painting of 'Chloe'. A black and white photograph of man holding a beer bottle in one hand and a beer mug in the other while toasting the portrait of 'Chloe' of Young and Jacksons fame.
