Photograph shows Tram 20 Westbound on Sturt St, just past Lydiard St. Destination is 'Gardens via Sturt St Nth'. Background shows Commonwealth Bank (Sturt & Lydiard Sts branch) and Colonial Mutual Life building. Circa mid - late 1950s. Tram 20 was severely damaged in a collision with a truck on 16/09/1970 at the intersection of Victoria & king Sts. All 3 people on board escaped with only minor injuries.
