Bob ...Has a strong association with some of the volunteer workers who undertook work for the BTPS in there 1972/73 period.Black and white photographs of the installation of a pole adjacent to No. 3 road. The depot fan is progressing, No. 1 road points have been installed, overhead troughing to No. 2 and 3 roads installed and the transformer is by No. 1 road door. Date possibly 16 June 1973 - based on the list of dates in the 1972 - 73 Annual Report. Note the little sections of rail indicating the position of the curve into No. 1 road laid out on top of the sleepers. See also Reg Item 4758 to 4760 for similar photos and colour slides. Both stairs have been fitted, painting well underway, and first of the top deck handrails on the north side have been fitted.
