Displayed at History House. Belonged to the late Mr. Ernest Newman Frost, who was born at South Melbourne in 1886. His first wife's grandmother was a maid with the Hentys. On the occasion of her marriage they gave her a pair of lamps and this is the base of one.Decorative wooden lamp base (polychromed), gold. Lamp base measures diameter at top 40.5 cm and 72cm at the base height is 62 cm -
