Detailed description on the rear of the photograph in ink, particularly about the bus - one of 30 built by Commonwealth Engineering during 1949/50 for the MMTB. Surplus to needs after the conversion of Bourke St and that the seating reduced from 41 to 37 to facilitate one many operation. Bus sold to the Eastern Suburbs Omnibus services Pty ltd for the operation of the former railway service.
