Sixteen page, A4, full colour, printed on gloss paper, centre stapled pamphlet, titled "Light Rail Transit Link", describing the proposal for the conversion of the St Kilda and Port Melbourne rail lines to light rail. Dated May 1987. Has a foreword by the Minister, Tom Roper, explains the system, shows high platform stops using the Hanover example, ability to couple tramcars, development of the project, an April 1987 review of the project, transport of people with disabilities, journey times, costs and saving and two page map of the system, showing a possible extension to Glenhuntly Road. Has the Victoria Transport logo on the front of the document and the Met contact and logo on the rear. Two copies held .3 - Pamphlet, printed and cut for use in trams around passenger hanging rails, titled "Say hello to the new Route 58" - on rear gives the new routes and key changes and what to do if you catch route 8? Two copies held - 2 copies held. .4 - Folded DL size sheet - vertical - titled "Tram Route Guide 8 Moreland to Toorak" with a photo of the Shrine of Remembrance on the front. Dated 02/16 - gives a map of all route stops, zones, estimated frequencies, with notes on night services and Myki. .5 - As for .4, but for route 55, with a giraffe on the front, dated 02/16. .6 - Route 58 guide - pending publication at time of entry. Two colour pamphlet describing the history of the Australia's first electric tram service - Box Hill to Doncaster in 1889. A3 Pamphlet folded into 6, with photos and copy of timetable. Includes extensive notes on the tramway history, economics, passengers, services and notes on Henry Hilton. Includes notes o Tram Road and Hilton's Lane. Document has been laminated. Notes that the document was published in 1998 by the City of Whitehorse. Printed on off-white paper, with a reddish brown colour partly through the sheet.
