Sunday 27 March, 1988 the Jewish Festival of the Arts was held in Caulfield. It was estimated by a journalist from the Australian Jewish News that between 7000 and 10 000 people were in attendance. Bialik Dance Troupe performed during the six hour event, sharing the stage with soloists, duos, bands, and choirs.
