This history of Briar Hill Primary School was written by GHS members Marilyn Smith and Dawn Bennetts (nee Petts). They had access to Briar Hill's archives and scanned photographs and news articles relating to the school. These are saved to a CD.Briar Hill Primary School was opened in the 1927 but was threatened with closure or amalgamation in 2000 due to low student numbers.
