Centre circular pattern (18cm diameter) of a wreath with horns, reindeer heads and rope pictures. In each corner of the centre cream section is a male seated figure dressed in Scottish kilt and cape. A 4cm long silk fringe in gold and reddish colours borders the cushion. Back of the cushion is gold coloured cotton. Machine and hand stitching. A palm tree on either side of the front frames a semi-circular shape with the Australian and British flags at the top on either side of the semi-circle. A crown is embroidered at the top in the open section of the circle. Australian Commonwealth Military Forces is embroidered around the semi-circle. Kinnear's factory in Footscray, Melbourne is a large industrial site which is no longer used for rope making.
