Black and white photograph of W3 669 standing (appears to have just arrived) on the entry to Nos. 1 and 3 roads at Essendon depot. The tram has a run number (E48), is showing Essendon Depot. From shadows is late in the afternoon. Date of photo taken based on the series of photos received from the ARHS as being during Oct. and Dec. 1965. On Kodak paper. W3's were not based or attached to Essendon and would thus appear to be a visiting tram, but in service due to the presence of a run number. Set of 8 black and white photographs of the SEC Ballarat track welding truck, Reg. No. 119 341. Truck is a British Bedford truck, model WHG, built by GMH Melbourne between 1932 and 1934. Has a fabric roof, chassis fitted with a tray top body, side tool box, metal frame and covered with canvas, fitted out with a motor generator set, welding equipment and oxy acetylene bottles.
