The buildings and courtyards shown in this collection of photographs are the first buildings at the new educational facility at Mt Helen. The photograph of St Mary's Anglican Church at Bulla was taken before the completion of the airport at Tullamarine. Originally the church occupied a site on Oaklands Road near the Old Bulla Road. It was shifted to its present site in Bulla next to the old council chambers when the airport was built because the old site was near an important runway.A black and white photograph of a partial view of a bluestone church showing a rear and side view. The five span masonry arch bridge over Blind Creek was one of the major constructions on the Melbourne to Echuca Railway. It was one of the first masonry rail bridges built in Victoria. This photograph was taken during the upgrade of the Bendigo Railway line at Sunbury Station. Colour transparency (slide) created in June 1976 during a tour by the Junior National Trust, which was led by members of Kew Historical Society.
