Item was probably used as a storage container for Kerosene or oil possibly fuel or some other liquid, the spout indicates it was used to fill other objects such as machines or farm implements etc.It appears the item is quite old and could date from around the turn of the 20th century around 1900 -1920Round container galvanised with conical top and metal handle.
