Paper mentions that credit for the project must go to the Long Gully History Group who have been working to install a sense of pride in the locals by highlighting the contribution the former residents made to the city. Long Gully was once known as Bendigo's Little Cornwall - the Cornish Association was asked to help. Although this publication has no date it is obviously from the 2nd half of the 20th century and put together by the local historic society in an effort to record certain traditions and promote the local area. It is aimed at visiting tourists and includes maps with walk and cycle routes.A colourful 32pp booklet published as extra-edition of the historic Bunschoten periodical 'Bunscote'.Names of the editing team, co-ordinator, graphic artist and printer are all recorded.

The item dates from the years of Dutch influence in the region which ended in 1962. The region is now known as West Papua.As the above urls will show, West Papua's history is a complex one with various colonial powers disputing ownership with the local inhabitants. Modern Indonesia also lays claim to it. The area was part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1949 till 1962. Prior to 1949 it was part of the Dutch East Indies. The item may well date from this pre-1949 period.Richly illustrated small rectangular glass ashtray showing map of one-time Dutch New Guinea, surrounding waters and smaller islands. Two endemic bids are also shown. The glas is a pale blue; the illustrations are in green and yellow; words are in black. The ashtray's four sides are curled slightly upwards.Oceans, seas and islands are named in the Dutch language. A dotted border marks off Australian New Guinea.

Provocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic.Two blue cardboard boxes containing six (6) ampoules of procaine hydrochloride. One box has been opened but the six ampoules remain intact. The other box has unbroken adhesive seals. The ampoules have been separated by cardboard barriers which are lined with shredded paper for absorbency. There is a corrugated carboard layer between the lid and the ampoules as well. This chess set was carved from local wood with bases made from halved cotton reels. The chess pieces take the shape of Australian animals, and Aboriginal men and women. The set was presented to Mr. Benzion Patkin, Honorary Secretary of the Zionist Federation of Australia, by Tatura internees in recognition of his assistance, in particular, his assistance in facilitating the emigration to Palestine. According to Mr. Patkin, he received the chess set in a wooden box inscribed, "With our sincerest thanks from your Zionist friends - Tatura, on the way to Eretz Israel, per Leonhard Levin, 20.11.1942.".Written in pencil UR corner, upside down: (22) Printed in black ink: "B. & H.
