Photograph of the railway line to Gembrook and the water tank at Menzies Creek in the centre of the picture. This area, known as The Tanks, is the site of the landslide that closed the railway down in 1953. Glen Park homestead is on top of the hill on the left.

Series of black and white photos showing workers bagging potatoes and loading onto trucks. These were taken on the Hermon farm on Black Hill Road, Menzies Creek. The Hermon family leased this land from the State Forest Commission.

Joy and Lyn are the great grandchildren of James Hermon who built the house in 1874-1878. In 1885 the house became the Aura/Menzies Creek post office. Copy given to Sherbrooke Centenary Committee in 1989 by Hermon family.

Two black and white photos dated 1962 from the National Archives of Australia, showing the Puffing Billy train in the Dandenongs. - Ground is steep and heavily treed and may be the stretch of line between Menzies Creek and Clematis Station. - Large trees line the track. There is a driveway below the line with large puddles. A car can be seen crossing the line behind the train. A lightly treed hill is visible in the background. This may be the crossing at the Clematis end of Menzies Rd with Tivoli Farm in the distance.

The photo shows a corner of a post and rail fence enclosing a small farm paddock. Behind a row of trees, a brick chimney and part of a roof can be seen, presumably the main farmhouse. B&W photo of a young blond boy of c. 5 years old, leaning out of the driver's window of an International truck. The boy is John Hermon, son of W. J. (Bill) Hermon. He is wearing bib and brace overalls over a short-sleeved striped top with a pale rounded collar done up to his chin. The words 'Parties' and '61 Emerald' can be seen on the top of the truck, and 'W. J. Hermon/Menzies Ck/Via Belgrave/Licensed to carry 37 passengers' is painted on the door. There is a canvas covering over the back of the truck. c.1945.

B&W photo of an open tray truck parked in front of a fuel pump on rough open ground with trees in the background. There is a tall pole beside the pump. The truck has 'MILL ENDS Phone EMERALD 61' painted on the side of the tray, and 'W. J. Hermon/EMERALD/61' painted on the door. There is a manually operated turning indicator – a large white hand shape on a pivoting rod – attached to the door. It appears that the signal is operated through the open driver's window. An unidentified man is in the driver's seat and he is smiling at the camera. Dated 1948.
